"Climate change offers choice material for an analysis of the theatrics of power and belief in today's world. Tempers flare on all sides regarding the theory that global warming is due to human activity. On the one end are the 'climato-zealots' who believe this to be the absolute truth. On the other end are the 'climato-skeptics' who believe there are enough incoherencies in statistics to support an attitude of skepticism. I consider myself a "climato-gnostic" for now, it cannot be confirmed nor denied. One of the goals of this book is to explain why by objectively interpreting the results from data analyses and observations. It is also a look at Science today and its relationship to money, politics and the media."
