Bol This volume presents a sample of Angel González's essential poetry, accompanied by the always elegant and evocative illustrations by Pablo Auladell and a prologue by Javier Rioyo. Ángel González's work is a blend of intimacy and social poetry, with a distinctive and characteristic ironic touch, and addresses everyday issues with colloquial, urban language, neither neo-popularist nor parochial. The passage of time and the themes of love and civic life are the obsessions that recur throughout his poems, which have a melancholic yet optimistic aftertaste.
