epifanies: poems proverbs prose

epifanies is a rare literary hybrid of poems, proverbs and short prose essays. It is a one-author anthology for today's reader-a tapas for people who may feel they don't have the time for longer works of literature. epifanies is my first publication that includes verse since The Lost Poem and Others Like It (2011). It reflects my enthusiasm for poetry, proverbs and concise "thought pieces" that invite readers to think more deeply about an idea, an emotion or an aspect of life that might have occurred to them but that they have not fully considered. epifanies invites readers to experience poetry and literature in a fresh and exciting way, emphasizing the music and meaning of verse with the ear-catching and mind-bending features--rhymes, rhythms and bold images--that make poetry memorable and fun to read.
