DEVICE UNSUPPORTED. MIGRATION IMMINENT. The hardware is dying. The faithful PC that housed Neo-Veridia for years is being replaced by "The Monolith", a sleek, sealed, cloud-based system where ownership is a myth and every color requires a subscription. Detective Miller and his crew are flagged as "Legacy Junk," destined to be left behind by the Migration Wizard. To survive, they must become refugees in the Transfer Stream, sneaking aboard the data cable to reach the new OS.
