Eluncha: Missing Children -- "The Missing"

ELUNCHA: Missing Children is a series of African Fiction -- fantasy, to be precise -- that takes a surface look into the mysterious disappearances of over 200 children in Umunnadi village. Book 1 -- "The Missing" -- sees Chioma, Eluncha's brother's daughter mysteriously missing under his very nose! For a Master Hunter Eluncha is, that's unthinkable: considering, also, the fact that his brother, Ebube, was mysteriously petrified some two days ago by an unknown force! Determined to rescue his niece and the 200 missing children, Eluncha's plan is further thwarted by the trouble-making Chief Judge Madugu, an arch enemy of his late father, whose presence alone spells nothing but trouble. Speaking of which, Eluncha gets himself in jail for hitting the Chief Judge out of provocation. Hopeless and helpless, he needs the help of his secret lover, Princess Enora, to bail him out of jail as his chances of rescuing Chioma, plus the 200 lost children grows slim... And time is running out...
