Ella and Mark Rainy Day Soccer

Ella and Mark - Rainy Day and Soccer brings together two early-reading stories from the Ella and Mark learn-to-read series, designed to support literacy development through simple language, repetition, and familiar everyday experiences for young readers in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 2.In Story 5a: Rainy Day, Ella and Mark make the most of a rainy afternoon. They visit a bookshop to choose new books, then return home to read, bake, and play music on the guitar and piano. Short sentences and familiar vocabulary support reading confidence while following a cozy day indoors. In Story 5b: Ella and Mark Play Soccer, Ella and Mark join their friends for a soccer game. They run, pass the ball, and score goals as their coach and family cheer from the sidelines. After the game, the story continues at home with shared activities including music, dancing, and play with friends.Together, these two stories complete the gradual progression of the Ella and Mark 5-Book Series, reinforcing early reading skills while celebrating everyday moments familiar to young readers.
