It's usually when you least expect it that life offers its biggest surprises. Marguerite had been living a comfortable but dull and passionless life in the suburban town of Maisons-Laffitte with her straitlaced solicitor husband until his death. Whereupon she suddenly realized that her life had passed her by and that now it's too late. Marcel was in a loving relationship with Nora since they returned from Algeria sixty years before. Now that he has lost her, this lover of nature and the good things in life is only a shadow of his former self. Marguerite and Marcel were in two different worlds and never should have met and yet, remarkably, their paths will cross at a spa in Bagneres de Bigorre and their hearts will reawaken...
