Echoes of Sorrow

Everyone has a story to tell and we tell our story in the only way we know how. I tell my story with my poems I write about true events not fairy tails or made up nearly all my poems are true events in my life from child hood to present day . My feelings my fears my love and hate people I have met and the impact they have had on me [some good some bad] I write for me as a release and comfort. I share with you some thing that I hope you can connect with. [I AM SORRY IF SOME OF MY POEMS BRING BACK UNHAPPY EVENTS IN YOUR LIFE BUT I ONLY WRITE WHAT THE HURT PEOPLE WANT TO SAY BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO SAY IT]First I ask my poetry family to please understand that I have never done this before. I was born in 1965 in Cardiff in Wales. I have no memory of my younger life the first memories are when I was 7 or 8 year's old. I spent most of my life in the care system and around violence. No love and just surviving as the years went on I learned that to survive I had to fight and do what I had to do But being 4 foot 8 and 6 stone didn't make me A fighter. I left school at 13 and lived by my wits. I am not proud of the things I have done But I had to protect myself The poetry I write are about true events in my life nothing is made up or enhanced for reading This is the only way I can express my feelings. I hope you understand how hard it is to talk to people but easy to use words. Thank you for your support and love
