Earned Acreage

European Kings and Queens no longer controlled the actions of the horde of indomitable colonists that had settled the Eastern Seaboard of America. These early settlers had rebelled against the English Crown and launched a new country. Following the discoveries of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, a migration from the East followed the beckoning sun west into the wilderness. They traveled by wagon, by horseback, or just walked...but they moved Westward. These pioneers, these seekers of fortune or just adventure, comprised a great migration of folks. Some were naïve, some were corrupt, some foolish, while others exhibited vast amounts of courage and an indomitable will to achieve a better life, fame, or fortune.
