Earl and Pearl Squirrel

Meet twins Earl and Pearl Squirrel! He's gray, and she's brown. At times he's an annoying little brother, and at times she's a bossy big sister. Their tales include a family outing to The Annual Nutty Acorn Festival, a risky game of roadkill, and a visit to Doctor Darrell. Children will understand that peer pressure can influence them to make decisions which might lead to dangerous outcomes and disciplinary consequences. Another life lesson is to always try to do your best. Children who strive for but do not achieve perfection are able to feel good about themselves for giving the task their best effort. Earl and Pearl Squirrel is written for a kindergarten through third grade reading level. The lively illustrations will capture young readers' attention, and their imaginations will be magnified as they enter the make-believe world of talking squirrels.
