When we discuss about security and networks we never remember the contribution of encryption and decryption methods and techniques. From last few years DNA computing rapidly growing technology and may place their contributions on various soft computing methodology and security algorithms.There a lot of effort and proposals are found during the search of effective, efficient and robust algorithm for image encryption. In this project we work for image encryption technique using the DNA sequence addition technique. The proposed technique First, the image is converted into binary matrix after the matrixis divided into some equal blocks. Second, each block is encoded in DNA sequences and usethe DNA sequence addition operation to add these blocks. Thirdly, carry out the DNA sequence complement operation for the result of an added matrix by using two Logistic maps. At last, decoding the DNA sequence matrix from the third step, we will get the encrypted image. The simulation experimental results and security analysis show that our algorithm not only can get a better encryption effect, but also can resist exhaustive attack, statistical attack and differential attack.
