Rotten apples are a symbolic categorization of influential people in power and administration who are elitist, corrupt, greedy and iconoclastic filling in roles such as that of a clergyman, courtesan, chieftain, diplomat, again leaders resting on absolute power in a monarchy. Here absolute power corrupts and the forbidden fruits are bitten by him and from that day onwards he is blamed for each and everything that goes around him. He who amidst evildoers (thieves) now should justify missing religious symbols, inciting a competition or a race amongst multi religious outfits in successfully bringing ashore or loot the sacred artefacts in balancing power for a stronger monarchy.However as in a sword of Damocles, the truth is left hanging, the unravelling of it is not way far, it must reveal with or without consequences, reminiscent only of lives spared after a brutal colonial loot by the king's guards. Afterthoughts are always with the visionary leadership of Indian freedom fighters under Gandhian philosophy.
