Dis Is Marvelous

One of my favorite songs growing up was by a hip-hop artist named Ahmad called "Back in The Day". In the song, he references things he experienced growing up and the theme of the song is sometimes wishing he was a kid again. This book is something that I wanted to gather and compile all the works I created in the past and even present that I referenced popular characters and childhood TV shows from my childhood. As an artist, I have always, since a young age, wanted to capture culture and put an interesting spin on it. This collection spans from as early as 2008! I have really been working and putting in work! Also, you will see some pieces are more digital as I have worked on my design ability and wanted to showcase that side as well. My hope is that you can vibe with your pupils and enjoy this collection of art. This is not a drawing of this or a painting of that. I wanted to make art out of my childhood throughout the years with the piece having elements to hold its own vibration if hung or displayed online digitally.
