Destroy Capitalism Before It Destroys Us! 10 Steps to a Moneyless World

Against a backdrop of rising authoritarianism, runaway corporate power, accelerating automation, and a climate in crisis, 10 Steps to a Moneyless World offers a clear, urgent roadmap for a radically different future. Shawn Gillick (author of New Existentialism and Destroy Capitalism Before It Destroys Us!), argues that gradually reforming capitalism won't save us. Instead, he lays out ten practical & actionable steps to transition away from money as the primary medium of exchange, using existing manufacturing and distribution systems to make the shift fast and feasible. This is not utopian theory; it's a pragmatic plan for structural change that can be implemented in years rather than decades. What you'll find inside: - A concise diagnosis of the systemic crises that make the current economic model unsustainable.- Ten concrete steps to build a moneyless economy-policy changes, institutional designs, and community-level strategies that work with today's technology and logistics.- Realistic transitional pathways that minimize disruption while maximizing social equity, ecological resilience, and human flourishing.- Examples of existing practices and infrastructures that can be repurposed to support a post-monetary system. Why read this book? - If you're worried about climate collapse, growing inequality, or corporate domination, this book gives hope grounded in actionable strategy.- If you want alternatives beyond reform or revolution, you'll find a practical blueprint for systemic change.- If you care about building fairer, resilient communities, this book shows how to get there using tools we already possess. Bold, unflinching, and firmly pragmatic, 10 Steps to a Moneyless World challenges readers to imagine-and build-a future where value is measured by human and ecological well-being, not by profit. Pick up this book if you're ready to move from critique to concrete change.
