In order to conserve and restore the coastal forest of southeastern Madagascar, it is necessary to understand its biodiversity. This study aims to determine the floristic diversity and structure of the vegetation, as well as to identify the threats that may arise both internally and externally. It includes a characterization of the forest using the PCQM (point-centered quarter method). This method provides information on the floristic structure, spatial structure, and threats to the forest.
