Daughters of the Strygil: Book III Selkie Chronicles

The third book in the Selkie Chronicles shifts the action from Shetland to Glasgow's docks and nightclubs, where Selkie magic collides with the human world. A human faction known as the Breakers gains strength - humans who have learned how to corrupt and to 're-program' Selkie girls, by using biological agents carried in polluted water, training the girls to seduce young men and steal their memories and emotions. These actions soon come to the notice of the police, which threatens the established relationship between human and Selkie realms. This compels the three sisters to re-unite and invoke the power of the Triptych to combat the threat. The book culminates in a technology battle with the Breakers that determines whether the Selkie realm survives, transforms, or disappears entirely.
