Dark Night Of The Soul

Marcus, having escaped the man who took him when he was fifteen, follows Gregor to the New England town where he escaped. In his quest to kill Gregor, Marcus is once again taken. His escape is witnessed by Maddy, the child, now a woman who was supposed to be his first kill. Recognizing Marcus as the man who saved her, Maddy sees beyond his darkness. Haunted by nightmares of her close encounter with a terrible death and knowing Gregor has returned, Maddy decides she must help destroy the monster that shaped both their lives. The killing begins. The city of Norwich is besieged by a monster they do not know and cannot understand. As the bodies mount, the towns citizens hide in terror behind bolted doors. Maddy enlists the aid of her brother. Together they continue the hunt. Chief Daniels, investigating the murders, sees beyond what Marcus seems to be and with one goal: stop Gregor before he kills again, he begins to trust the information Marcus provides. As the hunt continues, Marcus finds that he is not only fighting Gregor, but he is fighting for the ones he's grown to love and for the soul he has fought so long to keep.
