Crown Lands Apocalypse (LP)

Crown Lands, het Canadese progressieve rockduo, brengt Apocalypse uit in 2026 als hun meest veeleisende werk tot nu toe. Het album werd opgenomen met producers Nick Raskulinecz en David Bottrill, wiens contrasterende benaderingen de richting van de plaat beïnvloedden. Apocalypse is Conceptueel ontworpen als een compleet verhaal met twee albumkanten en eenheidservaring die zich afspeelt in hetzelfde universum als Fearless (2023). Centraal staat het 19 minuten durende titelnummer, een lang episch stuk dat zowel muzikaal als narratief het hart van het album vormt. Thema’s gaan over verandering en het einde van het ene begin van het andere, wat zowel in het sciencefictionverhaal als in de evolutie van de band terugkomt. Apocalypse is conceptualised as a complete story with two album sides, unfolding in the same universe as Fearless. The core is the 19-minute title track, anchoring both the music and the narrative. The album explores change, the end of one thing and the uncertain beginning of another, reflecting the band’s evolution and their readiness to push previous boundaries.
