Chapter One: "Memories" tells the history of cotton, textiles and fabric manufacturing which has been within the community of Morrilton for one hundred years, since its beginning in 1927. Chapter Two: "Crompton Capers" is the heart of the book. It is a reprint of ten years of "Crompton Capers, the newsletter of the plant. Here you will find personal stories of employees, their families, awards, recognitions, interests and hobbies, marriages, new babies, bereavements and seasonal parties. Chapter Three: "Newspaper Articles" is a collection of articles from local Arkansas newspapers spanning from 1927, the beginning of Morrilton Cotton Mill, which became Crompton Arkansas Mills in 1950 and finally closing its doors in the year 1984.
