Creative Writing Studies- Advancing Across the Curriculum, Volume 2

Chapters in this edited book fill a timely need in the area of creative writing across the curriculum (CWAC). Creative writing classes and majors remain among the most popular English department offerings in US higher education. At the same time, humanities-related fields find themselves increasingly needing to justify their contributions to students' educational journeys. Advancing Creative Writing Across the Curriculum features cutting-edge, never-before-published scholarship from established researchers on the issue. Contributors in this edited book come from a range of relevant disciplines: applied linguistics, creative writing studies, rhetoric and composition, and writing studies generally. Teachers of creative writing generally and humanities programs specifically will find these chapters useful for supporting human-based creation, communication and connection across the curriculum.Creative Writing Studies, No. 2Selected by Khem K.
