This pilot study provides an initial insight into possible correlations between visceral-fascial findings and the clinical picture of coxarthrosis. The sample studied revealed a correlation between this clinical picture and both the distribution of visceral findings and their frequency and severity. No causal relationship could be inferred from the results. The findings justify further, more extensive research in this field. These results may provide an important foundation for the practical work of osteopaths and all manual therapists. They may serve as motivation to investigate these correlations more intensively and in greater depth, thereby offering a potential topic for future scientific research.
