Through these lines, I described my trajectory, my experience, the reasons and sources of inspiration that guided my decisions and my choices. Through stories, anecdotes and con¿ dences, the reader will have a better understanding of the leadership that I wanted to embody for my country through my ideas, my actions and my mode of operation.This book is that of the political journey of a young person from a modest social background who decided, for various motivations, to take responsibility by charting his own path in a di ¿ cult and often dangerous environment; the Guinean political backwater.Far from being a memoir, which would be both precocious and pretentious for someone of my age who still has a lot to achieve, the writing of this work responds to a need to share experiences and a duty of restitution. This in a context where a signi¿ cant proportion of the youth of my country despair of their future in the land of our ancestors, and choose political indi¿ erence or the path of exile; often at one's own risk.Having under my belt a dozen yearsactivismand of political responsibilities in the foreground, and also of professional engagement in several international projects, each stage of this journey is in itself a set of lessons.
