Correct But Wish to Explain

CORRECT BUT WISH TO EXPLAIN is a gritty, heart-forward coming-of-age novel about two brothers-in-arms who enter a military institute as boys and leave as different kinds of men. Mixing the brotherhood and institutional pressure of The Lords of Discipline with the blue-collar candor of This Boy's Life, it traces Ethan Cole's path from class clown to cadet, through hell weeks, moonshine mistakes, forced marches, and one final act of defiance that sets up the next stage of his life.Praise for Correct But Wish to Explain "Powerful coming-of-age story." - Rabia Tanveer, Readers' Favorite "A gripping journey filled with unexpected twists... thought-provoking and emotionally resonant." - Frank Mutuma, Readers' Favorite "Heartfelt and courageous." - Alma Boucher, Readers' Favorite
