This book provides an overview of the extent and socioeconomic implications of the underfunding of women's informal entrepreneurship in Cameroon. It proposes strategies for public or private financing in this area through the creation of a corporate philanthropic guarantee fund. This fund would support the innovative activities of women entrepreneurs. The chosen model is based on the principle of collective and group lending grounded in the joint liability of the borrowers.
