Connecting the Dots: Life Lessons Learned

"When I was a kid, I would have punched God in the eye if I could have gotten close enough to Him, but I didn't exactly know where He was actually located. So, I sat there Sunday after Sunday, on that hard, wooden pew in the storefront shoebox-shaped building called Community Baptist Church, around the corner from my house, mad at the world."After rereading the many journals I've written over the last sixty years, I can look back and clearly see all the connections between God's Voice that said, "Turn left," and my insistence on making a right at the light. So, I challenge you, my friend: - Experience spiritual growth and learning by recognizing how past events shape our faith journey.- Acknowledge and be grateful for the people who have helped us dig out the holes we've dug.- Reflect on your present journey and recognize that growth happens when you connect the dots.
