Confessions of a Hollywood Soundman

What you are about to read is not your average Hollywood memoir. This isn't the glossy, airbrushed version of Tinsel town, with smiling publicists and choreographed red carpet moments. No, this is the story of what happens behind the camera, under the cables, behind the locked doors, and inside the exclusive backrooms where the real industry lives-and sometimes implodes.Working for Entertainment Tonight, what makes Gary's stories so special is not just the celebrities he met or the legendary shoots he survived, but the raw honesty and dark humor with which he invites us into this world. This is the Hollywood that doesn't show up in press releases: the panicked last-minute calls, the grizzled cameramen with zero patience for rookies, the union rules that could make or break a shoot, and the cast of unforgettable characters (both famous and infamous) who crossed his path. It's part survival story, part comedy of errors, and part love letter to an industry that can chew you up and spit you out-and yet somehow keep pulling you back in. So, grab your backstage pass, tighten your seatbelt, and prepare for a wild ride through decades of raw, unfiltered Hollywood. Enjoy the ride!
