Gonzalo is going through a rough patch. Or rather, he's going through another rough patch. Between being exploited by the multinational coffee company where he works as a barista, the unpleasant customers, the lousy pay, and the fact that he can't find a job in his field no matter how hard he tries, he feels trapped in a nightmare. The only good thing in his life is his girlfriend, Bego, with whom he's been for ten years. Although that stresses him out too. Not her, of course, but the expectations of her wealthy family. They're always asking when they're going to get married, when they're going to move out of that cramped rented apartment, when Gon is going to find a "real" job... And they don't even know what's coming. Because as soon as the great TikTok influencer Reyes Cisneros files a lawsuit of biblical proportions, claiming that his coffee "tastes like blood," his already miserable life spirals out of control. First came the dreams. Those dreams in which he's a soldier in a non-existent kingdom and Reyes is an enemy spy. And Gon would attribute them to post-traumatic stress from the damn lawsuit if it weren't for the fact that Reyes is having the exact same dreams. And that's a real nightmare. A nightmare from which he won't be able to wake up.
