Come Boldly: Asking God the Hard Questions

God Himself both invites us to come boldly before the throne and to reason together. The invitations are His, not ours. Yet so often we are afraid to ask the hard questions for fear of offending Him. Come Boldly is not written to persuade you toward any particular belief or written from the perspective of any parochial doctrine. We consider various passages in the Bible that are outright confusing, considered of little importance by the modern-day church, or are just downright weird. My purpose is to stimulate thought and make your brain hurt a little by considering aspects of the faith you may never have considered before. I present no new doctrine and in no way attempt to convince you of the validity of the conclusions I draw. My only intent is to approach God boldly and to reason together.
