She hates her job. She hates her superiors. And she hates herself for choosing this life. When a routine patrol in the dangerous fifth sector leads Stone into a hidden room stacked floor to ceiling with forbidden books of every color and size, she stumbles into a secret world she never knew existed. And her new partner, the perpetually grinning Officer David Mason, may know far more about this underground network than he lets on. They call themselves Collectors, and they are preserving everything the government has tried to erase: art, music, literature, and the dangerous ideas they carry. Now Stone faces an impossible choice between the rigid authority she has served for years and a movement that could awaken something the state has worked tirelessly to destroy. In a society built on obedience, what happens when the enforcer becomes the rebel? Collectors is a gripping dystopian tale of forbidden knowledge, unexpected love, and the courage it takes to reclaim what it means to be human.
