Christ Is Our Light: SATB Version

Christ Is Our Light is a reflective Christmas prayer service combining Scripture, silence, prayer, and music in a peaceful Taizé-inspired style.Centered on the birth of Jesus Christ and the image of Christ as the Light of the World, the service moves through readings from Isaiah, Luke, and John, with musical meditations following each proclamation of Scripture. The music is designed to encourage contemplation, allowing the congregation to rest with the sacred texts through simple, prayerful song and periods of silence.Musical meditations include Christ, Our Light; Glory to God; Come, Let Us Adore Him; The Word Became Flesh; Stay With Us; and Go In The Peace Of Christ. The service also includes an opening prayer, General Intercessions, the Lord's Prayer, extended silence, and a closing prayer. Ideal for Christmas prayer services, parish gatherings, retreats, evenings of reflection, and other seasonal worship settings.A gentle and deeply prayerful way to celebrate the mystery of the Incarnation through Scripture, music, and sacred silence.
