Chastity - Home Made Satan (CD)

Home Made Satan is the second full-length album by Canadian project Chastity, released in 2019. A coloured vinyl LP edition emphasizes its physical, collectible appeal, underscoring the record’s place in contemporary underground music culture. Musically, it sits in a raw but melodic space between alternative rock, punk rock and emo, with tense guitars and emotionally charged vocals channeling feelings of alienation, fear and social disillusionment. The album functions as a concept piece, grappling with themes of evil, politics and marginalization while remaining concise and direct in its impact.Within Chastity’s evolving trilogy of records, Home Made Satan marks a turn toward a clearer, more accessible sound that still retains an abrasive edge. The production balances atmosphere and immediacy, giving the songs a sense of urgency that suits the socially aware and deeply personal lyrics. As a coloured vinyl LP, it appeals to listeners who value both tactile formats and emotionally intense music, reinforcing its identity as a passionate, outsider statement in the alternative rock and punk rock tradition.
