Cassandra Syndrome: the Philosophy of Prediction in Technological Age

The book discusses the phenomenon of "unconsciousness, manifested as a subject of philosophy, presented by the analyst as potential factors and prerequisites for cognitive formations, characterized by all manner of generalized concepts, phenomena, effects, paradoxes, and errors of a socio-psychological nature." The phenomenal aspect relates to ontological insufficiency, human will, and responsibility. These phenomena are also examined in the context of socio-psychological manipulation. Determining the role and scope of the disruption of abstract representations, assessments, and interpretations-not only on the basis of science fiction, which is most actively received by the human community and serves as a scientific and worldview-oriented para-philosophy, but also on the basis of the arguments of so-called "SF philosophy." Based on the research conducted, it is possible to outline the contours of the philosophy of "The Tragedy of Cassandra," including in the form of "unawareness of what is happening." The book is intended for a wide range of readers, as well as for undergraduate students, master's students, doctoral candidates, scholars, and philosophers interested in questions of the theory of knowledge, the scientific worldview, and the natural and technical sciences.
