Decades on, Bernie builds a glittering career in Manchester, far from Carribay’s shores, while Claire Moloney endures heartbreak in Dublin before being exiled across the Irish Sea only to fight her way back from loss and addiction to forge a new future. When Bernie’s daughter, Kiera, returns to Carribay, she must modernise her grandmother’s beloved salon while confronting the past and longing for romance with Damian Murphy, Ireland’s up-and-coming country singer.
