Canaan

As the book story unfolds, it introduces us to the Promise Land (a location with cultural value, natural splendor, and intricate details). You will see that the book's plot doesn't limit your focus to only the physical land that God promised as a heritage but spiritual metaphor for God's provisions and blessings when you obey his word. Cynthia Denise Robinson says the Holy Spirit motivated her to utilize the "Parable of the Sower" in Luke 8. The seed spread across the land represents God's word, and the different types of soil represents how people respond to the word. People scatter a variety of seeds across the field of life, but what fruit they produce (love, joy, peace, or anger, and hatred) is determined by what kind of seeds they are. As sure as the sun comes up, good seeds will blossom at harvest time.
