This research study employed secondary data in a macroeconomic approach. The study's purpose was to understand the development and dynamic change of Cambodian micro-small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), identify challenges affecting the socioeconomic status of these MSMEs during the COVID-19 time, understand how these firms grew and succeeded, and how government policies supported MSME development in Cambodia during the pandemic. Specifically, the study aimed to examine the dynamic change of MSMEs in Cambodia, identify the impacts of the pandemic on the firms' operations and growth, and articulate pathways for post-COVID recovery and competitiveness of these firms in Cambodia.
