Called to Care

You worked hard to get here-into the program, the clinic, the grind. But somewhere between the flashcards and the finals, you started to wonder: Who am I outside of this?Called to Care is a 10-week devotional created specifically for women in medical and veterinary fields who feel the weight of performance, perfectionism, and pressure. Written by a veterinary student who knows the tension between pursuing your calling and burnout firsthand, you are invited to root your identity in Christ, not your credentials, through rich Scripture study, honest storytelling, and practical reflection. Each week explores a theme relevant to the journey-like comparison, burnout, imposter syndrome, or striving-and reframes it in the light of God's truth. With powerful biblical insight, "In Practice" action steps, and deep discussion questions, Called to Care helps you trade hustle for holiness, and insecurity for intimacy with Christ. If you've ever wondered if your faith and your future in medicine can coexist-this study is your reminder: Before you were called to this, you were called to be His.
