By the Throat

This book of poems was conceived from a mood board soaked with crimson images, a playlist full of lustful lyrics and sultry tunes, and a string of phrases this poet couldn't shake. By the Throat is a collection of poetry that reaches into your ribcage and grips your heart fiercely, while simultaneously offering an outlet for your pain and your pleasure. After several previous collections aimed at telling the sweeter side of love, Malotke sought to create an outlet for actions you've been craving. Or ones you haven't even considered yet. As if a love letter to all those words left unsaid, Malotke weaves whispers of the occult with mythological tales and kink to guide the reader on this journey through each segment. Split into three sections, this poetry collection offers an exploration of the pursuit of lust without love and the longing to feel needed, or worshipped. It's an intricate blend of complete surrender, sweet petitions, and intimate encounters that will leave your body craving much, much more.
