This book echoes a man's journey & transition from youth to the more contemplative, reflective years of getting older. Based on Gaurav's poetic influences in Jim Morrison, Charles Bukowski, Jack Kerouac & others, the book draws on Gaurav's influences, both literary & in other arts. The book is written in a new-age style of writing poetry, drawing from Jim Morrison's verse "everything is broken up and dances". As a writer, film composer & musician, musical themes pervade, but this book conveys a deeper message, striding life, mortality, love, passion, philosophy, art, unique experiences & is an artist's take comprising verses that encompass varied themes & settings, while acknowledging life's impermanence & the fortitude & grit needed to weave past the crests and troughs of life.
