Dead Can Dance-leden Lisa Gerrard en Jules Maxwell werken samen onder een nieuwegedaante met James Chapman (MAPS) om dit studioalbum te maken. In 2015, toenMaxwell werd gevraagd om nummers in te zenden voor The Mystery of the BulgarianVoices (Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares), benaderde hij Gerrard om mee te schrijven aanmateriaal en reisde hij naar Australië om met haar samen te werken in haar thuisstudio.Het paar kwam weg met vier nieuwe nummers voor die release, evenals de bouwstenenvoor deze nieuwe onderneming samen.“It is with great pleasure that I share this collaboration with Jules Maxwell.
