Bol ABSTRACT case This dissertation is entitled: "Perception of traditional local media by the population of Bukavu: Radio Télévision Nationale Congolaise (RTNC) Sud-Kivu". It is part of an approach aimed at analyzing Bukavu residents' perception of RTNC, focusing on two essential dimensions: the credibility of the information broadcast and the relevance of the content proposed. Using a quantitative and descriptive approach, the study mobilized a sample of 208 respondents, selected using the Slovin method with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 7%. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Excel and SPSS software. The results reveal that the majority of the population of Bukavu perceives RTNC as a media strongly influenced by political power, which affects its credibility with the public. In addition, the relevance of content is often deemed insufficient, as the programs broadcast do not always reflect the social, economic and security realities of the region.
