Breast Cancer Treatment Journal

This was my second breast cancer diagnosis and I was unwilling to trust that there would not be a third. I heard a voice that roared outside of my body, directed towards my Surgical Oncologist "take both breasts" I said. He was very understanding and never questioned my decision. As we fast-forward to the current date and time, my newly reconstructed breasts, areoles and nipples are simply amazing. My journey to survivorship was challenging but it taught me to never stop fighting, for me. Today, I am cancer free and living my life with a new found spirit of thankfulness and a dedication to making this journey easier for those with a breast cancer diagnosis. This can be an emotional journey filled with missed opportunities to ask questions about treatment plans, side effects, clinical trials and more. Please use this journal to organize your thoughts, experiences and to ask the prepared questions created to guide you through this process. This is your journey and each path that you take is your decision. The real superheroes are those fighting to survive breast cancer.
