Boyer's Barn House in Turtle Tough

Have you ever felt a little turtle-ish? Maybe your heart beats fast on the first day of school. Maybe your tummy flips before joining a new team. Maybe meeting new friends or trying something new feels scary. You're not alone. You're just feeling timid. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and self-control. That means when we feel small, God makes us strong. When we feel shaky, God helps us be brave.Like a turtle, we can pause...take a breath...remember God's promises...and step forward--slow, steady, and strong. With God as our shell, we are protected and never alone. So lift up your head, take that step, and face your next adventure with joy. Because with God on your side! You are turtle tough!
