Whether the depression shows itself as weakness under the heaviness of life, a feral scream against the corroding darkness, or the stirring shadows beneath everyday life, my every thought is tainted by it. Each poem in this collection bears a small portion of the raw and visceral anguish that burns through my blood vessels and weighs down my very bones. This is not a cry for help, however -- just a scream from the void. Hoping that someone listens... And knows that we're not alone.
