Most people who have been brought up in the church will recognize the story of how Christ healed blind Bartimaeus. When hearing that a miracle maker out of Galilee was passing through Jericho, Bartimaeus made the decision to call out with the hope of being heard over the crowd just to get the attention of the man called Jesus.The weight of a choice, whether right or wrong, often outlives the moment it's made, carving pathways we might never have intended to tread. The right choice, though it may demand patience or sacrifice, plants seeds of harmony that flourish with time. Conversely, a wrong choice, however tempting in its immediacy, can unravel threads of trust, sowing chaos and regret. Yet, within both lies a lesson-one to fortify the soul, the other to humble it-each shaping the mosaic of who we are destined to become.Blind Choices is what the author likes to call a fictional account of a factual event. In this book he exercises creative license to insert another character into the story allowing you to eavesdrop on the lives of two blind men from their birth to adulthood. Each of them has an opportunity to regain their eyesight depending on the choice they make about Jesus. Their individual choices have already been made. The final choice, however, is yours to make. Which of these two men will you identify with? What choice will YOU make regarding this man called Jesus?
