Blackjackal The Official Guide

Blackjackal is a new three card game that takes quick analytic thinking from blackjack, table aggression and blluffing from hold 'em poker and transports the player to the hot savanna of a new and fierce gambling experience. It's played in a circle like poker and the objective is to come as close as possible to twenty-one like blackjack. The best two-of-three mechanic means that about 40% of hands are tied at a full table of eight. The card you didn't use in your hand.----called the Kill card--- breaks all ties. It can destroy a perfect Pack----your first two down cards----of twenty-one, or rescue a mediocre hand of eighteen. The Kill card is our innovation. The Kill card is the radiant beauty and random bonecrusher of Blackjackal. The Kill card maximizes the tension between skill and chance that characterizes all great card games. This Official Guide gives you all you need ---- the rules and strategies of Blackjackal, how to hold home games and run tournaments. To give you a feel for the patient ruthlessness and wild swings of chance that define the game. Included is the report on the first World Championship of Blackjackal held at the Western Way Institute in Portland.
