Biochart for Co₂ Capture: Fundamentals and applications in industrial processes

This book presents five chapters as follows: The first discusses the theoretical foundations of biochart, the second deals with the generalities of CO2 capture, the third chapter reviews a laboratory level work to design a biochart column system for CO¿ capture from lime kiln emissions (Lime factories from limestones); the fourth chapter refers to the capture of CO¿ by biochart from coal coking emissions, and the fifth chapter has tests of biochart loaded with CO¿ in forest soils.At the end, annexes are provided, such as a list of application tools app of biochart uses, as well as a procedure for calculating the carbon footprint at the individual level and a glossary of terms related to the subject.It is considered that this contribution is a starting point for the kind readers to initiate the theoretical and practical aspects of the use of the biochart in the capture of CO2 and with it a way to search for reduction or mitigation of industrial emissions...unless it seems better.
