Bol We live in a truly astonishing universe on our beautiful blue planet. Our time here is but a single flutter of a butterfly's wing. But who or what is responsible, is it God, science or both? In a beautiful old church, during a children's carol service, as the nativity scene plays out, Jo renounces God. In this most magical setting, he is suddenly unnerved by some awful personal memories which he can't reconcile with the concept of a benevolent, merciful God. This book is the captivating journey of an ordinary man who decides he wants answers. He looks at God, creation, religion, science, philosophy, evolution, prayer, miracles and scripture - and most importantly, man's influence on it all."It has been a fascinating journey, and my conclusions were ultimately both surprising and reassuring."
