This book is about my memoir of leading the transformation in Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Bank BRI) from a purely rural bank into a more commercial approach micro banking business. This book also reflects how my inspiration and thoughts growing from my family background to the working experience in the company I work for more than 20 years (Bank Indonesia) before joining the Board of Management and became the President Director of Bank BRI in 1985. Hopefully this book will give insights on how transformation was built in Bank BRI which is now the largest and most profitable Bank in Indonesia.
