Banana Skin Shoes

Badly Drawn Boy, aka Damon Gough, maakt zijn langverwachte comeback met het nieuwe album 'Banana Skin Shoes'. Het album bevat veertien gloednieuwe nummers, inclusief de eerder verschenen single 'Is This A Dream?'. Gough gaat zowel muzikaal als tekstueel een stapje verder dan voorheen, maar behoudt wel zijn klassieke eigen geluid. Gough is nooit bang geweest om zijn hart te tonen en ook zijn negende album bevat veel persoonlijke nummers, waardoor het wellicht de meest verwarmende, eerlijke popplaat is die je het hele jaar zult horen. Het album werd afgelopen jaar opgenomen in de Eve Studios in Stockport met producer Gethin Pearson, die ook de mix van het album verzorgde. Verder werkte Gough samen met de legendarische producers Youth, Keir Stewart en Seadna McPhail
