Balanced scorecard and hospital performance management

The aim of this book is to address an issue that continues to be debated in management literature. It concerns hospital performance management using Balanced Scorecards. In a context marked by a paucity of studies on the construction of balanced scorecards in hospitals, and by a lack of data relating to the management of hospital activity in the emergency department of the CHR AL GHASSANI, the aim of this book is to propose an approach to the implementation of a balanced scorecard. This will enrich hospital performance management studies, in the absence of a specific strategy for this department. And improve the quality of patient care in emergency departments in particular. In view of the above, this study uses a theoretical and conceptual framework relating to hospital performance management. The proposed version of the TBP will be of use to hospital managers.
